Normally due the plate mounting holes being too far apart for a standard bike rego plate fixing point. Two holes have to be drilled in the top centre part of the plate.
This time as the Suvivor Plate is a good in, I decided to make up an ally bar to go across the plate an use the existing pre-drilled holes.

The top corners have been rounded off to create a larger area for the new bolt holes.
The ally bar was then fitted to the mount point on the bike

The actual plate can now be fitted with marking or holing it.

How good does this look with black plastic surround?
