I really think this bike really deserves a major TLC party, one of the forgotten gems of early 2000. Out gun the 600 and can pretty much hang off the tail of the 1000. The thinking back when was, why bother with a 750? Those stepping up to the bigger bore sports bike from lower would go for a 600, those stepping up from the 6 would opt for the 1000.
My thoughts are the 750 is plenty enough to still have those spincter clenching moments whilst not as heavy or physically big like a 1000 makes this an excellent all rounder ( a 1000 in a 600 body haha).
So back on topic, a gradual relacement and upgrade of parts plus add some cheeky little bling factor.
